Armenian delegates’ mandates questioned
The European People's Party (EPP), the biggest party in the Parliamentary Assembly of the Council of Europe (PACE), has disputed the mandates of the Armenian delegation.
According to the Heritage Party, the revocation of mandates is connected by "Armenian Parliament Speaker's illegal decision to remove Zaruhy Postanjyan, a member of the opposition Heritage member, from the delegation."
Zaruhy Postanjyan has left for Strasbourg with the mediation and financial support of the EPP.
PACE Committee on Rules of Procedure, Immunities and Institutional Affairs is expected to hear the issue later in the day.
