Smell of blood from authorities' chairs
Sargis Kloyan, father of one of the victims of the events of March 1, 2008 Gor Kloyan, was shocked after hearing the verdict of Editor-in-chief of "Haykakan Zhamanak" daily Nikol Pashinyan.
"The authorities showed their image once again. Instead of six years, the judge sentenced Pashinyan to 7 years because he was fulfilling a political order. I was by Nikol Pashinyan's side on March 1. He was only calling on the people to calm down so that they would not get into contact with the police and instigators," said Sargis Kloyan.
He also informed that nine of the successors of the 10 victims of March 1 have protested to the RA Prosecutor General's office regarding the lack of work by the Special Investigative Service and are awaiting a reply. "It has been two years, but not only is the SIS not involved in revealing the murders of our innocent children, but are concealing them. We will not stay silent and will fight until the end so that the culprits are punished. They would have revealed the murders a long time ago, if they had the desire. The names of the assassin policemen and the people who gave the command are known, but nobody has been punished yet," said Sargis Kloyan. He didn't find it appropriate to talk about the actions of the successors of the 10 victims of March 1, but assured that the culprits would be brought to justice.
As far as the attempts to ascribe the responsibility for the 10 murders on March 1 to opposition representatives and Nikol Pashinyan are concerned, the father of the victim said: "Let them ask the victims' relatives. Nikol Pashinyan and the remaining oppositionists had nothing to do with the 10 murders on March 1. There is a smell of blood coming from those authorities' chairs."
