Journalists invited to investigation
A criminal case was initiated on hindering the work of the persons participating in the election accompanied with violence by a group of people in precinct 10/19 by RA Special Investigation Service.
By the materials prepared based on press publications, it turned out that on January 10, 2010, a group of people had hindered the implementation of the authorities of election commission, proxies and mass media by provoking brawls and using violence against the proxies and mass media representatives in precinct 10/19 located in Secondary School 114 after Kh. Dashtenc.
The criminal case was launched according to the RA Criminal Code, Article 149, part 2, points 3 and 5 and the preliminary investigation is carried out. The results will be informed.
In the realms of the criminal case Azatutyun Radio Station reporter Anush Martirosyan and photo reporter Gagik Shamshyan were investigated by the RA Special Investigation Service today.
The youngsters hindering the election haven't been investigated yet.
