Meeting at National Assembly
On January 14 Chairman of the RA National Assembly Hovik Abrahamyan received Director of the United States Agency for International Development (USAID) Armenia Office Jatinder Chima.
Welcoming the guest, the RA National Assembly Chairman praised the partnership between the Armenian government and USAID and expressed the National Assembly's willingness to promote the partnership. Mr. Abrahamyan mentioned that the Armenian parliament is ready to develop the partnership with USAID through implementation of new programs.
In that context, Mr. Abrahamyan and Mrs. Chima discussed possible directions for cooperation. They separated a number of prospective spheres for developing and implementing new projects aimed at developing the professional and technical capacities of the RA National Assembly.
Participating in the meeting was Deputy Chairman of the National Assembly Arevik Petrosyan, as reported by the department of relations with public and mass media of the RA National Assembly.
