The Central Committee of the Social Democratic (Hnchakyan) Party disseminated the following statement:
"On the occasion of the developments taking place in the Armenia chapter of the Social Democratic (Hnchakyan) Party, the Central Committee of the SDHP recognizes the special congress held on December 16, 2009 and the approved resolutions.
The Central Committee disapproves the machinations regarding the party's name by individuals who placed themselves above the SDHP through their line of conduct and the political parties that are not part of the SDHP."
Let us remind that the wing headed by Lyudmila Sargsyan held a rally on January 9 and elected Sargsyan as chairwoman.
