Only 29 were qualified
In the past year, 44 auditors received their certificates of qualification.
The results of the final exam of the year for qualification of auditors held at the RA Ministry of Finance were released.
Out of the 13 applicants that took the exam, only 5 were granted certificates and four didn't show up to the exam.
The qualification committee took the decision to grant another certificate of qualification to one auditor qualified by the organization that is a member of the International Federation of Accountants based on the auditor's documents and according to resolution N123 of February 3, 205. In 2009, the RA Ministry of Finance granted certificates of qualification to 15 applicants qualified by the organizations that are members of the International Federation of Accountants.
Throughout 2009, there was a total of 8 exams for qualification and based on the results, only 29 out of the 115 applicants were qualified.
As of December 24, there are 115 certificates of auditor qualification that were granted by the RA Ministry of Finance and are in effect.
