Wedding ceremony in Sports-Concert Complex
On Saturday, December 19, the Sports-Concert Complex after Karen Demirtchyan had a festival-like appearance. It hosted the wedding ceremony of Arman Muradyan, the son of the complex owner Murad Muradyan.
Before the start of the ceremony people crowded in front of a supermarket in Paronyan Street, witnessed a splendid sight: broad-shouldered guys guarded the opposite entrance decorated with flowers and banned parking near the building.
They seemed to be waiting for some top-ranking officials. Later we learnt that Arman Muradyan, the son of Murad Muradyan, the owner of the Sports-Concert Complex and Co-President of BAMO Company, lived in that building.
The wedding ceremony started in Muradyan's flat and continued in the complex.
In reply to A1+'s question how the Ministry of Culture allows family events to be held in the complex, Ministry Spokeswoman Gayane Durgaryan said: "The Ministry is not in charge of the complex otherwise we would say our opinion. Surely, we don't welcome the idea of celebrating a family event in a cultural establishment but we do not have any levers to ban or control the building."
