New department at the prosecutor’s office
By the December 9 order issued by the RA Prosecutor General, a change has been made within the structure of the RA Prosecutor General's office with the creation of a new specialized department in charge of crimes of illegal narcotics' circulation.
The department was created to raise the effectiveness of the fight against crimes of illegal narcotics' circulation and ensuring the effective, centralized and coordinated implementation of powers reserved by the RA legislation on prosecution.
By the order of the RA Prosecutor General, Vardan Muradyan has been appointed head of the department in charge of crimes of illegal narcotics' circulation, as reported by the Prosecutor General's office.
