The newly appointed Ambassador of Bosnia and Herzegovina to Armenia, Želko Janjetović, today presented his credentials to Serzh Sargsyan.

Sargsyan congratulated Ambassador Janjetović on his appointment. Underlining Armenia's interest in developing the cooperation between Armenia and Bosnia and Herzegovina, President Sargsyan said that although the relations between both countries are in an initial stage, there are great opportunities for development. He expressed hope that the Ambassador's appointment would contribute to the expansion and success of the cooperation between Armenia and Bosnia and Herzegovina in both bilateral and multilateral formats and that the countries would start using the existing potential.

During the talks, the sides attached importance to the creation of a legal-contractual field, which will create opportunities for multifaceted cooperation.

Ambassador Janjetović briefly presented the primary courses of his country's foreign policy and economic situation.

The Armenian President and the newly appointed ambassador also exchanged views on the issues and developments in the Balkans and the South Caucasus region.
