Kindergartens and schools to close in Armenia
Armen Ashotyan, RA Ministry of Education and Science, today signed a decree on closing pre-school institutions and comprehensive schools from December 8 to 19, 2009. The decision was agreed with the RA Minister of Health who had proposed to stop lessons to prevent swine flu pandemic in the country.
Winter holidays will begin on December 28 and last till January 10.
Note that according to Minister Ashotyan most absentees have been recorded in Gegharkunik Marz.
