Robbed the students
Students of Vanadzor Arman M., 16, and Henrik P., 16, were attacked two days ago.
According to the police, they had entered one of the half-destructed and empty apartments on 54 Tigran Mets Avenue in Vanadzor to go to the bathroom, but an anonymous citizen entered the apartment after them and beat them.
Henrik P. escaped, but the stranger threatened Arman M. with a knife and stole his sweater, scarf, belt, gold chain, "Sony Ericsson K 850" mobile phone, 19,000 drams and fled the scene, causing Arman M. 170,000 drams worth of damages.
On December 2 at 12:25 a.m. the investigators from the RA Police Lori regional department and the Vanadzor division found out that the crime was committed by 49-year old Gevorg Mirakyan who had been sentenced nine times before.
The children were given forensic medicine notices and the items have been partially confiscated. Mirakyan is under arrest and preliminary investigation is underway.
