Five-party statement
On the first day of the 17th OSCE Ministerial Council Armenian and Azerbaijani Foreign Ministers Edward Nalbandian and Elmar Mammadyarov had a meeting with foreign ministers of the OSCE Minsk Group co-chair countries who expressed support for the resolution of the Karabakh conflict solely in peaceful way.
The five-party meeting adopted a statement upon the progress achieved during the meetings of Armenian and Azerbaijani Presidents. It was agreed that the parties should take efforts towards a final agreement on the Basic principles maintaining the positive dynamics, territorial wholeness and the principle of equal rights and self-determination of peoples.
Later in the day, Edward Nalbandian attended a non-official meeting of the foreign ministers of CSTO (Organization of Collective Security Treaty Organization) countries.
In Athens, Edward Nalbandian met with Slovak Foreign Minister Miroslav Lajcak.
Armenian Foreign Minister Edward Nalbandian also had a meeting with his Turkish counterpart Ahmet Davutoglu.
The Ministers discussed the process of ratification of the Armenian-Turkish protocols signed in Zurich on October 10.
