Cut his ears and took his eyes out
Sos Melkonyan, 13, was killed and his two childhood friends were arrested.
There were groups of people gathered at the scene of the crime the entire day yesterday, while policemen were investigating the neighboring homes, particularly the apartment where the suspects lived.
According to "A1+", Melkonyan's parents were not home when the boys came to their house.
The investigation showed that Melkonyan's computer and mobile phone had been robbed from the house and the computer was later found in the yard of one of the neighbor's houses.
The murder was even brutal. According to insiders, there were many bruises on his body and they say that even his ears were cut off and eyes were taken out. The criminals worked with gloves, left the house from the entrance and closed it with a key.
Police release
On November 29 the body of Sos Melkonyan (born in 1996) was transferred from apartment #17 on 61 Tigran Mets Street in Yerevan to the "Erebuni" hospital with traces of bruises from a sharp object.
On November 30 policemen from a number of subdivisions conducted investigations and arrested suspect Azat Yeghoyan (born in 1993 and 11th grade student at middle school #33 in Yerevan) and Sargis V. (born in 1997 and student of the school #2) and took them to the Erebuni police station.
It turned out that Azat Yeghoyan had murdered Sos Melkonyan and Yeghoyan is currently under arrest. Sargis V. was released under his signature and the preliminary investigation is underway.
By the way
The murdered child was the grandchild of the notable Gzhoyan family. He was named after his grandfather and his father was Artak Gzhoyan.
