Met with Janez Lenarcic
Today RA Minister of Foreign Affairs Edward Nalbandyan received Director of the OSCE/Office for Democratic Institutions and Human Rights Janez Lenarcic who is on a working visit to Yerevan.
Issues relating to cooperation between Armenia, the OSCE/ODIHR were discussed during the meeting.
Praising the role of the ODIHR in the promotion of human rights protection and democratic principles, Minister Nalbandyan mentioned that Yerevan attaches importance to the cooperation with the office.
Expressing gratitude for the effective cooperation with the Armenian authorities, Janez Lenarcic thanked Edward Nalbandyan for visiting the ODIHR central office in Warsaw.
During the conversation, the sides attached importance to the support of the office in the improvement of electoral processes and the implementation of the observatory mission, stating that the discussions on the results and conclusions and the activities contribute to registering progress in this sphere.
