No government recognition of the NKR
The government did not find it appropriate to discuss and adopt the RA bill on "Recognizing the Nagorno-Karabakh Republic" presented by the order of legislative initiative. The bills will be presented to the RA National Assembly by an established order.
Priest Babken to serve in church
Guided by the RA legislation and accepting the petition of the Catholicosate of the Mother See of Holy Etchmiadzin as a basis, the government has released priest Babken Stepanyan from military recruitment. Priest Stepanyan serves the Armenian Diocese in France. The government has also released three RA citizens from mandatory military recruitment for different periods.
