Sargsyan met with the Cardinal

President Serzh Sargsyan visited leader of the Catholic Church of Hungary, Cardinal Peter Erdo in Budapest.
In the meeting with Cardinal, Serzh Sargsyan touched upon the common history and culture and contacts between Armenians and Hungarians. Sargsyan emphasized that the church has played its unique and historic role in the national liberation struggle of the Armenian and Hungarian nations in the absence of statehood.
Serzh Sargsyan praised the fact that Armenians have the status of an ethnic minority in Hungary and take advantage of all opportunities and still keep their national identity.
Ending his state visit to Hungary in the second half of the day, President Serzh Sargsyan paid a short working visit to Kaliningrad at the invitation of governor of Kaliningrad, Georgi Boss.
