Policemen have surrounded the office of the New National Conservative Movement since morning. First, there were two and then there were more than 10 policemen.

The New National Conservative Movement has initiated the political process of recognizing the independence of the NKR. The movement representatives have appealed to the RA President and the RA Prime Minister several times with the demand to recognize the NKR independence and move out of the process of negotiations because, as they say, "they see a danger in the Turkey-Armenia Protocols that may have an impact on the Nagorno-Karabakh conflict."

The representatives hold marches toward the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, but policemen stand in their way every time. The movement representatives have appealed to the city council for permission, but the city council has prohibited them, saying that that section is extremely populated. But when the participants of the movement informed that they were not more than 100, the city council representatives told them that that was their constitutional right and there was no need to ask permission.

Vice-chairman of the department in charge of ideological issues of the Movement, Edgar Helhelyan told "...." that today was the fourth time that they were seeing police interference, even after they had received permission from the city council.

"The police gather and disturb the residents. They close the street with one car and there is no movement. This is an active political organization and people may get the impression that this is a criminal hide-out," Helhelyan said.

Edgar Helhelyan was not able to explain the reason for such precaution. "I don't know why the police are afraid, but I think that it is because the New National Conservative Movement is an unrestricted non-governmental power in the political field and that is what horrifies them."

"A1+" tried to find out why the police were afraid, but they refused to reply.
