Stepan Demirtchian to attend memorial service
Support A1+!Leader of the People's Party of Armenia (HZhK) Stepan Demirtchian will participate in the October 25 memorial service for the 10th anniversary of the victims of the October 27, 1999, parliamentary carnage. The obit will be held in Mother See of Holy Etchmiadzin under the chairmanship of His Holiness Karekin II, Supreme Patriarch and Catholicos of All Armenians.
Stepan Demirtchian will also participate in the unveiling of a monument in front of Parliament Building.
Unlike Stepan Demirtchian, Aram Z. Sargsyan will abstain from the ceremonies, the Hanrapetutiun (Republic) Party informed A1+.
The Armenian National Congress (HAK) headed by Levon Ter-Petrossian will visit the Pantheon at 1:00 and the Yereblur at 2:00, October 27.
Serzh Sargsyan's plans for October 27 are still indefinite but according to Republican Party Spokesman Edward Sharmazanov, Serzh Sargsyan has always honoured Vazgen Sargsyan's memory and will surely visit the Pantheon and Yereblur on October 27.
