Yaponchik is dead
Vyacheslav Kirillovich Ivankov (nicknamed Yaponchik), a Russian thief in law and notorious member of the Russian Mafia, died in a Moscow hospital today morning.
He was hospitalized after getting a missile wound on July 28. The sniper shot Yaponchik in the stomach when he was leaving a restaurant in Moscow.
Yaponchik died in the resuscitation department.
