People sign without actual knowledge
The Armenian Revolutionary Federation-Dashnaktsutiun continues the drive for signatures against the pres-signed Armenian-Turkish Protocols at Republican Square.
Syuni Gevorgian, 13, spent the weekend collecting signatures. She even managed to take signatures from foreigners.
"Many agree to sign the document though unaware of the campaign," says Syuni.
There are still people who do not know what they sign.
"To tell the truth, I am not acquainted with the document but I have signed it out of patriotism," said a woman. "We sign to win," added her friend.
"We want Turkey to recognize the Armenian Genocide," said the third.
"Indeed, we are sorry that people sign the document without knowing its contents. I explain to everyone that the Genocide issue is undisputable. I'm sure that if Armenians unite the signatures will be needless, "says Syuni.
