Armenia to participate in “Shanghai Expo-2010”
Serzh Sargsyan paid a visit today to the Embassy of China in Armenia on the occasion of the 60th anniversary of the establishment of the People's Republic of China.
Sargsyan congratulated the Chinese Ambassador and transmitted his congratulations to President of the People's Republic of China Hu Dzintao, the Chinese government and the people, wishing them development and prosperity.
Serzh Sargsyan was pleased to consider the fact that China is celebrating the establishment of the republic with impressive successes in economy and the public sector.
"We are very interested in strengthening and deepening our relations with China and will do everything possible to develop our relations," said Sargsyan.
The head of state and the Chinese ambassador also discussed the prospects for development of trade relations between both countries, Armenia's participation in the "Shanghai Expo-2010" exposition and promotion for China's investments in Armenia's economy.
