Armenian delegates to meet with Iranian Armenians
On September 29, an Armenian delegation headed by the Speaker of the National Assembly, Hovik Abrahamian, will leave for the Islamic Republic of Iran on a two-day official visit.
In Tehran the Armenian delegation will meet the President of Iran, Mahmoud Ahmadinejad, the President of the Parliament, Ali Larijani, Secretary of the Supreme Security Council, Said Jalili.
Members of the delegation will visit the Khomeini Mausoleum, as well as the Armenian Diocese of Tehran and the "Ararat" sports-cultural center to meet representatives of the Iranian Armenian community.
The parliamentary delegation headed by Speaker Hovik Abrahamian will return to Yerevan on September 30.
The delegation comprises Head of the National Assembly Staff Gegham Gharibjanian, MPs Galust Sahakian and Harutiun Pambukian, the Minister of Energy and Natural Resources, Co-Chair of the Armenian-Iranian Intergovernmental Commission Armen Movsisian.
