There will be one participant from the opposition
Lead of "New Times" party Aram Karapetyan has not yet decided whether he will participate in the celebration on September 21 organized by Serj Sargsyan.
What is definite is that he will participate in the September 17 discussion about the Armenian-Turkish relations, "so that there isn't an impression that they were afraid to tell the truth to Sargsyan." Mr. Karapetyan was really decisive about that meeting.
The Armenian National Congress has not received an invitation since it is not one party but a consolidation of parties. The partied included in it have received separate invitations, i.e. called from asked to "please come and take their invitations from the President's office."
The members of the PPA have rejected the idea of going to the President's office in order to take their invitations.
