"The only acceptable way"
The President of the Republic of Armenia, Serzh Sargsyan arrived in the Republic of Croatia today at the invitation of his Croatian counterpart Stjepan Mesic.
Following the official welcome ceremony on the Island of Veli Brijun, the Presidents of Armenia and Croatia had a face-to-face meeting at Bella Villa. The Presidents underlined the high level of political dialogue between the two countries.
They also discussed issues related to collaboration, tourism, etc.
The meeting continued in an extended format.
Presidents Serzh Sargsyan and Stjepan Mesic gave a joint press conference on the results of the talks.
"I informed President Mesic of the current phase of Armenian-Turkish relations. We agreed that establishment of diplomatic relations between Armenia and Turkey can have no preconditions. In the 21st century this is the only acceptable variant of relations between two neighbouring countries," said Serzh Sargsyan.
