Kocharyan won’t refuse to receive his pension
It turns out Robert Kocharyan is not receiving his salary from the "Sistema" company, which receives enormous amounts of profit. Let us recall that Kocharyan has held the post of independent director at the "Sistema" company since mid-July, said Robert Kocharyan's press speaker Victor Soghomonyan to "A1+". So, this means that Robert Kocharyan will not refuse to receive his pension from the RA state budget.
The RA President's salary is fixed at 408,000 drams by law and the outgoing president receives 80 percent of that salary, if he doesn't receive a salary exceeding that.
Victor Soghomonyan also recalled that Robert Kocharyan is not a share-holder at "Sistema" and doesn't have actives. In that case, what is Robert Kocharyan doing at "Sistema"? in response, the press speaker said:
"He participates in the managers' meetings and decision-making processes. It is internationally accepted that former heads of state either become heads of executive bodies or independent directors at large firms."
As for Robert Kocharyan's preferences, especially his love for surfing, Victor Soghomonyan said that his preferences haven't changed and he is involved in sports in Sevan and Tsakhkadzor.
Where did Robert Kocharyan spend his summer vacation? In response, Victor Soghomonyan said: "Robert Kocharyan is no longer the president and I am not obilged to say where he is spending his vacation. But he is abroad."
Robert Kocharyan and his family officially live in Yerevan, although it is hard to say how long he stays in Armenia. The last time he was in Nagorno-Karabakh, his place of birth, was in April on the occasion of Easter. Victor Soghomonyan didn't know where Robert Kocharyan would celebrate his 55th birthday on August 31.
