The bill is inadmissible
The Armenian Human Rights Defender, Armen Harutunyan, sent a letter to the Speaker of National Assembly Hovik Abrahamyan in connection to the adoption of amendments and supplements to the Law on Mass Media.
The letter notes that the bill caused a wave of criticism. Both the prepositions of the draft law and the legality of legal acts regulating the relations are disputed. The Ombudsman considers that the bill has conceptual drawbacks and is inadmissible.
