Presented his credentials
The newly appointed Ambassador of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela Hugo Jose Garcia Hernandez (residence in Moscow) presented his credentials to Serzh Sargsyan.
Congratulating the diplomat on his nomination, Sargsyan expressed hope that during his tenure the Ambassador would bring a significant contribution to the development of bilateral relations during his term in office.
During the ensuing conversation, the sides discussed the possibilities of bilateral cooperation in different areas and issues related to the creatoin of the corresponding legal field. They also stressed the importance of a more active cooperation in international structures.
President Sargsyan hailed the decision of the Parliament of Venezuela to recognize the Armenian Genocide which was adopted four years ago.
