Paid tribute
Heads and representatives of different embassies visited the Ministry of Foreign Affairs from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m. and paid tribute to the victims of the plane crash in the register for mournings.
They were greeted by the Deputy Foreign Ministers since RA Foreign Minister Edward Nalbandyan was in Stepanakert.
Iranian Ambassador to Armenia Seyed Ali Saghaian expressed sympathy to the families of the victims and RA state officials.
The Ambassador told journalists that a mourning would take place at the Embassy. Let us remind that although the Iranian Armenian Diocese has declared a three-day mourning, there is no official mourning in Tehran.
UN Armenia Office Director Consuelo Vidal expressed profound sympathy to the people of Iran and Armenia on behalf of the UN.
"This is a very critical moment for the families of the victims and hope that God will be with them."
Charge d'Affaire in Georgia Gocha Gvaramadze and U.S. Ambassador to Armenia Marie Yovanovich also expressed sympathy to the people of Iran and Armenia.
