Praised the work with OPEC
RA Prime Minister Tigran Sargsyan met with the delegation led by General Director of the OPEC Fund for International Development Suleiman Jasir Al-Herbish.
Participating in the meeting was Armenia Project Director of the International Fund for Agricultural Development Henning Pederson.
Welcoming the guests and expressing satisfaction with the projects being implemented in Armenia, the RA Prime Minister attached importance to the deepening of cooperation, particularly the rise of investments in rural areas, support for broadening marketing for farmers, updating infrastructures, road construction, energy, irrigation systems, gasification, loans for small and medium businesses and support for overcoming the difficulties during the crisis.
During the meeting Suleiman Jasir Al-Herbish mentioned that he praises the collaboration with the Armenian government and expressed hope that it would continue. The RA Prime Minister mentioned that despite the economic downfall, the crisis has also given Armenia the opportunity to undertake reforms which will allow the country to implement effective cooperation with partners in various spheres.
