Policemen using "Cheryomukha 7" will be invited to NA
"Mrs. Postanjian sustained her worst defeat after having her proposals signed by Azerbaijani and Turkish delegates at the PACE session. I have nothing else to add," BHK MP Naira Zohrabian announced today.
In reply to A1+'s question whether she would sign the documents if she were asked to, Mrs. Zohrabian said: "I shall not comment her steps as I haven't been asked to."
Mrs. Zohrabian also dwelt on PACE Resolution 1677 assessing it as a step forward. "The resolution can foster a dialogue between the authorities and the opposition. I do hope that our political opponents will seize the opportunity of a dialogue and we shall try to solve the existing problems with joint efforts around a political table."
Among the existing problems Mrs. Zohrabian underlined the revelation of the March 1-2 murders. "I think that the NA ad hoc Committee should draw a conclusion satisfying the authorities, the opposition and the public."
Mrs. Zohrabian thinks that all facts presented by the Fact-Finding Group should be made public. The 2000-page work submitted by the Fact-Finding Group is forwarded to the ad hoc Committee for further consideration.
Naira Zohrabian is going to request the NA ad hoc Committee to interrogate the policemen who used Cheryomukha 7 on March 1 leaving three people dead in Yerevan streets.
"We have already met them but I think that they must be interrogated by the Committee as well as we deal with a moral factor."
"I cannot say that the pre-trail body has done everything to disclose the ten murders," concluded Mrs. Zohrabian.
