Deadline prolonged
June 29 is the last day for submitting applications for the Junior Eurovision Song Contest 2009. The deadline has been extended for a week, Diana Mnatsakanian, Consultant to Public TV for the special projects, told A1+.
She didn't detail how many contestants had qualified for the national selection and said everything would be publicized on the last day
As usual, the song must be of 2:30-2:45-minute duration, no more. It must be written by the participant performing the song.
The Junior Eurovision 2009 is scheduled for November 21, in Kyiv, Ukraine.
Armenia will participate at the Junior Eurovision for the third time.
"Arevik" group represented Armenia at the Junior Eurovision in 2007. The group took the second place with its song "Erazank" (Dream). Last year another Armenian representative, Monika Manucharova took the eighth place with the song "Im Ergi Hnchyun" (Sound of My Song).
