MP sentenced to 8 years' imprisonment
Jailed opposition MP Sasun Mikaelian charged with last March 1-2 unrest was sentenced to 8 years' imprisonment on June 22. General pardon didn't cover the detained MP.
The situation is rather tense in the Common Jurisdiction Court of Kotayk Marz. People present at the courtroom don't allow court bailiff to take Sasun Mikaelian off the courtroom.
