Collaboration vs. crisis
Speaker of the Armenian Parliament Hovik Abrahamian received Foreign Minister of the United Arab Emirates Sheikh Abdullah bin Zayed Al Nahyan who is in Armenia on a working visit.
After greeting his guest NA Speaker Hovik Abrahamian voiced hope that UAE FM's visit to Armenia will help deepen bilateral relations. He underlined warm historic relations between the Armenian and Arab peoples and said he promised to spare no effort to strengthen the ties.
The interlocutors highly assessed and expressed gratitude on the high level of mutual political relations. At the same time, they noted that diplomatic ties should be further deepened by reciprocal visits of legislative representatives.
Dwelling on the global financial crisis the parties agreed that Yerevan and Abu Dhabi should boost mutual commercial-economic relations and make investments, reports RoA NA press service.
