RA Prime Minister Tigran Sargsyan took part in the grand opening of the 6th building of the Yerevan State Medical University student boarding house.
The Prime Minister toured the newly reconstructed building, which was granted to the university by the decision of the RA Government as a replacement of the previous seventh building of the university.
Tigran Sargsyan was familiarized with the building conditions and also visited the hotel floor for students, professors and guests visiting Armenia through foreign exchange programs.
The boarding house is equipped with convenient resources and a security system. The university currently occupies the fifth and sixth buildings with 300 rooms and conditions for over 600 students and was reconstructed through tuition fees.
The RA Prime Minister considered the decision of the RA Government justified, mentioning that the important thing is the student's evaluation.
"I think that the students who have lived in a boarding house could only dream of such conditions. What we saw today was impressive and this will create an opportunity for our students to fully dedicate themselves to science and learning," said the RA Prime Minister.
