Syrian President to arrive in Yerevan
On June 17 President of the Syrian Arab Republic Bashar Al-Assad and Mrs. Asma Al-Assad will pay a two-day official visit to Armenia at the invitation of Serzh Sargsyan.
On the same day, an official reception will be held at the RA presidential residence. Presidents Serzh Sargsyan and Bashar Al-Assad will then hold private talks followed by a meeting in a wide format with official delegations, after which inter-governmental and inter-ministerial documents will be signed. The heads of state will also hold a joint press conference.
On June 17 the President of the Syrian Arab Republic and Mrs. Asma Al-Assad will be served dinner on behalf of President Serzh Sargsyan and First Lady Rita Sargsyan in honor of the the Syrian President and Mrs. Asma Al-Assad.
Bashar Al-Assad will also meet with NA Chiarman Hovik Abrahamyan and Prime Minister Tigran Sargsyan and will be hosted by His Holiness, Catholicos of all Armenians Garegin II on the sidelines of his official visit.
On June 18 the Syrian and Armenian presidents will participate in a Syrian-Armenian business forum. President Bashar Al-Assad will also pay a visit to the Matenadaran and will leave for Syria on June 18.
