Serzh Sargsyan extends condolences
The President of Armenia, Serzh Sargsyan, sent a message of condolence to the President of France, Nicolas Sarkozy, on the crash of the Air France plane on its way from Rio de Janeiro to Paris. The message reads:
"It was with great sorrow that we heard of the disastrous crash over the Atlantic and the human losses.
On behalf of the Armenian people and myself, I extend deepest condolences to you, the friendly people of France and the families of the victims.
Sharing the sorrow and pain of the French people, I wish strength of spirit to the relatives of the innocent victims."
President Serzh Sargsyan sent another message of condolence to the President of the Federal Republic of Brazil, Luiz Inacio Lula da Silva.
"On behalf of the people of the Republic of Armenia and myself, I extend deep condolences on the crash of the Rio de Janeiro-Paris plane that took place on June 1st and took hundreds of human lives.
At this hard moment for Brazil, I express my sympathy with you and the friendly people of Brazil, wishing you patience and strength of spirit," the President's message reads.
