Recounting
Ten polling stations started recounting the votes early this morning.
The electoral commission of the 8th precinct is recounting the votes of 8 polling stations of the Malatia-Sebastia and Shengavit districts.
The commission ended the recounting of the votes at 8/18 polling station in Malatia-Sebastia at 3 p.m. and the results changed by 2 votes. Thus, there were two invalid ballots in favor of the Republican Party and the ANC in addition to the 31 invalid ballots.
The recount of votes at the 8/19 polling station in the Malatia-Sebastia district are in progress and according to head of the electoral commission Oleg Grigoryan, they plan on ending the recount by 7 p.m.
Let us mention that there were no proxies or observers present during the recount and the commission's secretary informed that a proxy of the People's Party showed up in the morning and left soon.
"It is not excluded that the results of the vote be considered invalid. However, at this moment, I can only release the results of the recount," head of the electoral commission Oleg Grigoryan told "A1+".
The recount will continue until tomorrow.
