Met with Ernekian
Serzh Sargsyan met with renowned Argentinean Armenian businessman, president of "American International Airports" Eduardo Ernekian.
Sargsyan said that he is well aware of the programs implemented by Ernekian in different spheres and both sides came to terms that they must move foward despite certain difficulties caused by the global financial-economic crisis.
Presenting the investment programs in the sphere of agriculture, the businessman mentioned that he is applying the latest technologies and new ways for cultivation and irrigation. The president attached importance to the study of those technologies and the spread in other agricultures.
The sides briefly touched upon the banking sphere and the initiatives of the "HayPost" company. The Argentinean Armenian businessman said that his "Fruitful Armenia" program is declaring a contest for essays on agriculture, agricultural production, finances and infrastructures with the purpose of encouraging innovations and fresh ideas, identifying Armenian youth with new ways of thinking and turning their proposals into a reality.
