Misunderstanding or...?
he Armenian National Congress (HAK) announces that on May 27 Armenia's Public TV (H1) gave misinformation during the evening transmission.
"Haylur" information program announced that the HAK ended its campaign after a meeting with Erebuny commune electorate. The HAK reports that Congress's recurrent meeting is scheduled for 6:30, May 27, in Nor-Nork.
The spokesman for the HAK's candidate Levon Ter-Petrosian, Arman Musinian, says the information doesn't correspond with reality. "The facts are distorted. Today we are meeting residents of Nor-Nork and on May 29 we shall have a concluding meeting with our voters. Let the public give an assessment to Haylur's disinformation."
Mr. Musinian thinks Haylur can easily correct its mistake. It simply needs to announce before HAK's next meeting that the programme has given unverified information.
Anyway, Arman Musinian thinks neither Haylur nor other TV Companies can affect HAK programmes. Nor can they hinder Congress's meetings with its electorate.
