The Armenian Parliamentarian Club "Supreme Council" issued a statement today which holds,
"Violating Article 30 of the RoA Law on Conscription, people performing no military service were appointed as high-ranking state officials. It is especially difficult to imagine the state of the Republican Minister of Education and Science. How can he explain to our youth that military duty is not only useful but also compulsory for the country's security? What example will he bring to sound convincing?
According to the Parliamentarian Club out of the 17 government members only six have served in the army.
Let's remind that Republican Armen Ashotyan was appointed RoA Minister of Minister of Education and Science on May 12.
