On May 10, Azeri sergeant Anar Khanbabuoglu Hajiev left the post, passed the Armenian-Azerbaijani frontier and yielded to Karabakhi Armed Forces, reports the NKR Defense Ministry.

According to the precognition, the soldier made the step after being regularly subjected to violence by Azerbaijani commanders.

Facts are being cleared up. An inquiry into the case is underway.
