Spring army enlistment underway
Serzh Sargsyan issued a decree for army enlistment and dismissal in 2009.
According to the decree, in April-June 2009 all 18-year old male citizens will be enlisted for compulsory army service and alternative services. Among those to be enlisted are citizens who in the past have lost their army enlistment postponement right.
Soldiers who have already undergone the compulsory army service will be dismissed in April-June.
