Visited the gold factory
RA Prime Minister Tigran Sargsyan paid a visit to the Masis gold factory, toured the departments and got acquainted with the production, perspectives for development and working conditions of the "ASSAT" company.
Director General of the "ASSAT" LTD Aram Osikyan informed the Prime Minister that the company is involved in the investigation and calculation of resources, construction of exploitation factories, as well as the exploitation of copper, gold and other metals.
The gold factory of Masis is one of the factories that has already undergone experiments and has good perspectives for development. There are 20 spots for employment and another 15-20 will be created in 15-20 months with a minimum salary of 150,000 drams.
During a press conference Tigran Sargsyan noted that mining industry is facing serious difficulties during the current global financial crisis, yet there are new possibilities in the gold industry and entrepreneurs are taking advantage of that.
According to Sargsyan, the Masis gold factory is one of the successful companies that is equipped with up-to-date equipment and corresponds to modern standards.
The Prime Minister noted that there are agreements with the Yerevan gold factory to procure the products of this factory in its entirety, according to the information of the press service of the RA Government.
