Over 80 footballers of the Armenian Diaspora have been given a chance to play in Armenia, Manager of the Armenian football teams Edgar Manukyan informed A1+.
The Football Federation of Armenian is seeking talented footballers among Diaspora Armenians. Manukyan says there are many good footballer in Russia and France. Most of them are young and can join the Armenian football team under 17-19. According to the FFA, there are few footballers born in 1991, 1992 and 1993. In order to fill the shortage, the Federation is presently negotiating with Armenian footballers playing overseas. The football player of France’s “Loran,” Vahagn Militosyan is expected to arrive in Armenian already in February.
The FFA is interested in Arthur Maloyan playing in Moscow’s “Spartak.” The skilled forward received an invitation from Armenia long ago but it is still known what will become of the sportsman as Maloyan has got another invitation from Russia’s national youth team.
Spartak’s footballer Artak Alexanyan has rejected Armenia’s invitation to play in the national youth team.
