At the turn of 2008, the Assessment and Testing Center (ATC) held interim exams in the 8th and 10th forms in order to check pupils’ general knowledge.

Early in the morning the ATC placed the tasks on its website. The answers were available the following day.

Several school of Alaverdi encountered serious problems during the examination because of poor Internet connection. They couldn’t even take the tasks from the ATC’s website.

According to a recent decision of the Centre, this spring interim exams will be conducted in the 9th and 11th forms as well which means the region is likely to face the same problems.
