BUILDINGS ARE PULLED DOWN IN FRONTIER VILLAGES
Support A1+!Over 360 children attended Barekamavan’s eight-year school in the 1980s. Today only 42 pupils go to the local secondary school. Most doors in this frontier village became locked because of the ongoing migration. Lately a house has been pulled down and sold as building material.
Another two-storeyed private residential house has been put up for sale as by the owners for 5000 USD. A resident from the neighbouring village wanted to buy the house but then he gave up the idea because of the lack of a hoisting crane in the neighbourhood.
