IT IS ALREADY 5 DAYS KAPAN IS DEPRIVED OF WATER

It is already 5 days there are serious damages in the water system of Kavart, Lenhanker, David-Bek, Lernagortsner and Barabatum districts of Kapan. The above mentioned districts were fully deprived of water last week.

This situation is connected with hydroelectric power station of 300 Wt built on a canal 5 km above Geghi Station. The construction of the hydroelectric power station was initiated 6 months ago.

According to Edward Martirosyan, head of Kapan water system, there were project mistakes during the construction whereas they were to take into consideration each detail. At present the construction works are stopped.
