CONSTRUCTION PROGRAM IN GEGHARKUNIK

The construction work prescribed by the program “Garegin II” initiated in Gavar with blessings of Markos Hovhannisyan, member of the Gegharkunik eparchy.

The municipality of the region cooperates with the company “Habitat,” the later gave a half-built block of flats in order to curtail the problem of flats in the region. The company “Armenian Habitat” and the representatives of the Gavar Municipality will observe the implementation of the constructions.

The building is to be exploited this September. 24 homeless families will get flats as a result of the program. 5 - 6 million AMD will be spent on each flat, whereas the compensation from each family will be less than 3 million AMD.

The future residents are delighted by this initiative and they are ready to work together and finish the construction in time. One of them claims that soon their vagrant life will end and they will move into real flats from shelters in awful conditions.
