«SHIRAK» HAS BECOME «ZVARTNOTS»

The Gyumri «Shirak» airport has been doing with unprecedented amount of work for the last two days. The reason is that the Yerevan «Zvartnots» airport is not able to fulfill its duty because of the thick fog.

For these two days «Shirak» has accepted flights from Moscow, Sochi, Novosibirsk, Anapa, Krasnodar, Rostov, Ashgabat, Dubai, Amsterdam, Paris and other cities serving all in all about 3000 passengers.

The authorities of the airport assured our colleagues from the TV Company “Tsayg” that the safety of the flights and the passengers is secured. Special buses are allotted for the passengers to be transported from Yerevan to Gyumri and back.
