THE SNOWSTORM HAS «CLOSED» THE ROAD

Because of the weather conditions in Shirak region an emergency situation has been created. Because of the strong snowstorm the Ashotsk area has become impassable since morning, particularly the Tsoghamarg-Karmravan part.

According to the Emergency Administration of Shirak region at 7:30 p.m. because of heavy snowfall and snowstorm several roads to Gyumri are impassable, particularly – Gyumri-Ashotsk, Toros-Ashotsk, Bavra-Ashotsk. In the Toros-Ashotsk part there are special equipment working in order to secure safe traffic.
